FRANKIE
Based on the original screenplay by Owen Luebbers

Brooke Kessler - Frankie

Brooke Noel Kessler (Frankie) was born and raised in rural York, Pennsylvania. She began training with Anthony Meindl Techniques Coach, Ben Hodge, when she was 13, and she continued her acting education at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX. After graduating magna cum laude, Brooke moved to Philadelphia to begin her pursuit of a full time career in on-screen acting. Shortly before production for Frankie, Brooke wrapped on “Carry That Weight” (written and directed by Victoria Cheyenne), the story follows a night where Dessa (played by Brooke) grapples with the year anniversary of an event that changed her life. Brooke hopes to get more involved in indie films that depict the complex emotional lives of imperfect characters dealing with an imperfect world. In addition to acting, Brooke is also an accomplished social media manager and marketer for the real estate industry, as well as a semi-skilled craftswoman. In her spare time she does yoga and takes her Yorkshire Terrier on long walks on the Schuylkill River Trail.

Patricia Purcell - Lisa

Patti Purcell is a Philadelphia actress brimming with energy and enthusiasm, with over 30 years industry experience in stage, film, writing, and directing. She believes in supporting upcoming creative artists by supporting student films, and is honored for the opportunity to be part of the “Frankie” team. Natalie Sandone - Mariah

Natalie graduated from UARTS and has been acting on and off for 16 years. She is currently a repertory member of Without A Cue theater company, does voice over work, and loves to do improv comedy whenever she has the chance! She was drawn to Frankie because of the depth and heaviness that can be all too familiar sometimes, stories that need to be told and being part of that connectedness that makes us human and relatable. Mariah was a role close to her heart and she’s honored to have been able to be a part of this whole production with such a wonderful cast and crew. You can check her out on the interwebs.
